yes he wrote some nice songs. but he is also a Book Burning Son Of A Bitch I may sound bitter over this but I used to be a big cat stevens fan. I also personally witnessed demonstrations against salman rushdie which he wipped up and I have never felt such hatred in my life, I supported salman rushdie then and I still do 20 years later what rushdie wrote was a legal work of fiction, and I cant think of another british author in hundreds of years that has had to spend the rest of his life in hiding like him. if we were going to let some bunch of religous book burners dictate what we can read in britian what was the point of the second world war. we could just as well have rolled over then and let those german book burning bastards burn our books.
