And they're the ones that feel it the most, good for them!

I don't know about y'all, but I'm looking forward to the crash.

Those of us with the least material wants and needs will be the happiest.

    High f*cking time!

Contrary to popular thought what you own doesn't make you a who you are, and will never make you better than you actually are.

Money doesn't seem to be able to get Donald Trump a decent hair piece. You can only comb over so far.

Material goods are irrelevant if you can't use 'em. A hummer in the driveway is useless if there's no gas for it, as is a mansion without heat or electricity.

My point is that no one pays any attention when the poor get shafted, but when the rich start taking a hit, all of a sudden the powers that be admit we're in a state of crisis. Sometimes crisis begets progress. If enough rich people get pissed off, maybe there's hope for us after all. Maybe when they lose everything they hold dear, they'll realize it's not all about the bottom line, and they'll start doing the right thing, for a change.

And I don't know what Trump's deal is, you'd think the guy could afford a better hair piece, but he's so self centered and arrogant, he doesn't even know or he doesn't care that he looks like a chump. Maybe he'll change his tune when his empire collapses...

Jealousy of whom, Trump? You're kidding, right?

About the only thing that can be said about the guy is he made his fortune the old fashioned way: He inherited it. ;)

U.S. dependence on foreign oil is going in the wrong direction. From the U.S. Department of Energy.

Really. Sorry if I offend anyone, but a friend of mine won tickets to go see Trump at a seminar. She said after about fifteen minutes of listening to the guy ramble about how great he was, she concluded that he had nothing of substance to offer, and his arrogance was more than she could handle, so she left.

I'm surprised to see the domestic oil supply curve so level out to 2025, but then I guess they keep finding new places to drill, right?

we import oil in this order, Canada, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela (saudi/venezuela are essentially tied and we import about 50% more from Canada than from mexico) about 73.154 million barrels from canada in december 07 alone

canada is the number one suppllier but its supply is dwarfed by the total amount supplied by the world.

The economic foundation for his energy gouging friends may be strong, but it isn't for the working man here in the US or the world. We are being sold pie in the sky, so that GW and AGs friends can become rich.

    That's very true.
The Neo-Cons do not care for the ordinary working man. To them, we are just disposable cannon fodder.

Unfortunately, there's a lot of really very stupid Americans out there, who refuse to face reality.
