Okay, so on Wednesday, me, my uncle, and a few friends are going to an anti-war rally in downtown chicago. We've already made two signs, one saying "We are human beings, not collateral damage!" and the other saying "How many Iraqi civilian deaths? 50,000? 100,000? 600,000? 1,000,000+? 'We don't takea death count' - Gen. Tommy Frank" and one that depicts a soldier, and an Iraqi woman and child saying "Each day they die for ego." I need a few more ideas, so give 'em up!
"The Iraq War: Costing Us Family, Friends, Money, Reputation, and Our Hope For America's Future" Sorry im bad at thinking of signs, I usually like to stick with the old time stuff "make love not war"
I like the Megadeth album title "Peace sells, but who's buying?" "Not in my name" is a good one, I also like nynysuts' sign "Stop taking the Peace"
] "The Iraq War: Costing Us Family, Friends, Money, Reputation, and Our Hope For America's Future since 2003!" A picture of the Bush family "The Iraq War: A family business!"
theres a really in chicago on wednesday? why wasnt I informed of this??? lol Is it going to be huge like the october rally or just a small one? oh yeah your question lol...how about "god bless our troops. god damn our president" or "im already against the next war"
im with other people use those really classic signs. "give peace a chance" "make love not war" ..... "bush is a dink"(that made me laugh inside) "if killing is natural then i'm in the wrong world"
one of my favorites that we used the other day. . "real men know when to pull out" along with make love not war all your need is love and since we had an anti apathy rally. . my favorite one was "our generation should stop blogging and start talking." "we have a right to free speech so why are we silent"
"Bombing for peace is like fucking for virginity!" My personal favorite hahah, but if you're looking for a more subtle approach: "What's our oil doing under their soil?" "Endless (cross out "less" and write "this") War" and all the classics already mentioned of course.
i forgot about this 1 "the war is over (in big letters) if you want it(in small letters)" John Lennon and Yoko Ono
