    You can always tell a good philosopher/sociologist, because they just seem to be stating the bleedin' obvious. Marx was good at what he did, people pick little holes in him, but the ideas he had were great.

    I think that marx had some very good ideas. I think that marxist ideas only get a bad rep in this country because they scare the crap out of the rich elite.

    Capitalism is fine up to a point, it's a potent tool to impose meritocracy on a world and a race which really fights tooth and nail against it. Then again, it's easier for me to say that from the comfort of my room than from a sweatshop in Vietnam.

    Careful with that joke, it's an antique.

    IMHO, Christianity is the largest brianwashing movement known to man.
