Anyone on these boards in or near the Columbia area? If so, let's hang! I'm a barefooter, but hopefully my bare feet, even in public, won't embarrass anyone. Heck, if there are any fellow barefooters in the area, that'd be all the better. (Also, it's a bit embarrassing how this board is filled almost entirely with North Carolina threads and virtually no South Carolina ones....)

Hey everybody in Columbia, I moved here a few months ago and have yet to find anybody cool to hang out with. Are there any good music fests around town in the summer? Anyway, if anybody wants to hang out, get in touch
They have lots of fairs in the summer and some blue grass fests. There is a small music scene here. A few good artists, but most of them play out in Raleigh, NC where there is more money. You might like the five points area or the vista. Just be careful, good times and trouble are both pretty easy to find in five points.
ah cool, blue grass is always a fun time listening to. I've been down to five points and the vista a few times. Been wanting to check out the tavern on greene, but haven't had a chance. Anybody have any opinions on that place?
