Can anyone tell me how to pic shrooms?

i need to know with out all the scientific and confuzing and detailed stuff. I live in canada, new brunswick so i don't think there's alot of poisionous one's down here. Just usually the usual small, brown one's. or white one's out of the tree. Thanks

 

If you can't find the mushroom forum, I doubt you'll find the correct shrooms. Just a thought.

 

What exactly makes you shy about learning the scientific stuff? Once you begin to learn about mushrooms (or anything really) you often begin to realize how little you really know, which is humbling. Don't let that discourage you from mycology. I'm kind of at that 'all I know is that I don't know nothing'* stage myself, and I've photographed and attempted to identify more than 50 different types of mushrooms in my area, using spore prints and all of the other fun stuff that goes along with mushroom hunting. I don't really expect to stumble across anything with psilocybin in it around here, (except perhaps a gymnophilus spectabilis (laughing gym) but I wouldn't eat one of those anyway). I did see some Amanita pantherinas, which are supposed to be like muscarias but much more potent, but again, there's no way I'm eating those things. The vast majority of mushrooms in my area are poisonous, but many are photogenic. Good luck.

go on there and look for the mushrooms hunter's guide, the best. but you need to know a lot of stuff before you can go out and pick mushrooms, and it seems like you want them fast.

 

I DO! NOBODY EVER HAS THEM! But that doesn't mean I'm stupid enough to pick the wrong one's haha. Even thought I do want them quick, so don't worry about that people. But I heard you can grow shrooms or something. Does anybody know if that's true?

 

No, think about it, if you could grow your own, then you could just go online and Google up some websites that sell all of the supplies and stuff and follow the step by step instructions. If it was that easy, you'd already know about it, since you've obviously used all of the search functions on the intronets. What will you ask about next? Growing mescaline cactus or marijuana plants? That's just crazy talk man.

 

this guy ^ has no idea what hes talking about. you can buy everything there is needed to grow shrooms online, and can find pretty easy and straightforward instructions. its prretty cheap too

 

No way man, I'm sticking to my argument, if it were really possible to grow your own mushrooms, somebody would've already posted a link in this thread to a website that tells you all about how to do it and find what you need including grow logs with pictures. That would never happen. The truth is, you must find a magic cow.

Weed & speed:

You can grow your own. Look at the sticky at the top of the Mushroom forum. The one title'd 'easy grow kits'. Read that thread and you will find a link to get you started.

You can also pick your own. Haunted Graffiti's post above , from March 18th, 2008, 04:37 PM, has detailed instructions on how to get started.

You can also meet local hippies in your area and start asking around about buying them. This is probably your best bet.
