is there a color you can dream in....just color I think... Language depends. When I'm on holiday I speak a lot of English with people I met so than suddenly it becomes English. Normally Dutch (native speaking)...... but than again..sometimes I don't even know how I or other people talk in my overall weird dreams
i normally dream in normal colors, but its rare for people to talk in my dreams, they all just sort of, "know", probly cause they're all my brain children.
words don't usualy enter into it just sights and sounds and smells and tastes and tactile sensations just like in waking life only in a kind of parallel universe. often with somewhat different physical laws (a few very different) and very different cultural perspectives though an often strikingly parallel geography when there are people in my dreams everyone seems to understand each other perfectly as if language were more completely transparent then ever it is in real life most likely this is like telepathy though there is sometimes the sensation of physical talking there is really nothing that is the same in every dream except so many of them do seem to take place in the same or very similar parallel worlds =^^= .../\...
Are we talking about actual DREAMING or dreams as in sleeping? Probably dreams as in sleep, when I do have a dream its usually in cherokee and I'm in my spirit animal image...
As far as colors are concerned, I think I usually dream in color. From time to time, I notice some particularly vivid (perhaps symbolic or meaningful?) color. Other times the colors seem sort of faded or washed out. Most of my dreams are in English, although I remember one dream in Italian taking place in Italy. I've also frequently dreamed in French and Spanish. I was brought up with both English and French, so that probably makes a difference.
I dream in full colors, or pastel colors ( when my dream takes place in the clouds, which it comonly does...). And my languages? Usually English/German. Sometimes Japnese sneaks in, and in very rare cases, spanish. But it's weird by me, in one scene the guy who spoke German, then starts speaking english all of a sudden (of coarse I don't notice this until I wake up and think about my dream) or vice-versa...O.O
When I was younger, all of my dreams were in black and white. A few years ago was when I started having dreams in color. Don't know why, but I kinda was freaked out by it when it first happened. Usually there's no speaking in my dreams, but when there is, it's in English. Peace!
I dream in color and black and white (less frequently)... In most cases there isnt much spoken in my dreams, like a few people have said its like the comminication is just known. On the rare ocassion that there is speaking its in english or french.
i usually dream in colour, but i can recall having black and white dreams...i also dream in english and spanish, sometimes i speak either or listent to people in my dream speaking both, hahaha i'm nuts.
I dream in color and usually in English. However, I rarely dream about me. I dream full length feature films, and they don't have actors I know them in it. When I am in my dreams though there's usually a pretty famous actor or actress in it. The following have all turned up in one dream or another: Jeff Goldblum Keanu Reeves Alex Winter Natally Portman Dwight Yokum Ewan McGregor
lol, you've had actors & actresses in your dreams? That's pretty interesting. Quite a few of my dreams have had classic rock heroes pop up every now & then, such as Pete Townshend, Robert Plant, Tommy Shaw...and uhm... Mick Jagger.
I think i usually dream in colour. Ive never had a forgeign language dream. whats the deal with people having the dream where your naked and everyone around you is clothed?
thats cool. I have had musicians in my dreams but only like once or twice. When I was in junior high I dreamt that I was at a pool party and the members of *nsync were life guards. The funny thing is I don't like *nsync and never have.
