On January 9, 2003, Obama introduced Senate Bill # 0008 into the Illinois State Senate that allows law enforcement authorities to implement electronic eavesdropping technology in fighting marijuana cases, and, this bill would allow these secretly created taped conversations to be used as evidence in fighting these cases in court.

As much as we all love if weed was to be legalized we can't choose our president on that. There is bigger things going on...I know I'm voting for him! If that old fart McCain or Hillary ended up in there who knows what will happen

the only person running who i think would virtually always make sense to me is ralph nader. unfortunately people don't seem to consider him a serious candidate. but the election process seems to be a farce anyways.

I don't think people should only vote for a president based on if they are for legalization. There are bigger issues in the world, like getting out of the war. That's the first thing that needs to be worked on. Also if there was a pres. that was for legalization I wonder if they would even win the race, considering the fact they would lose a lot of votes to anti drug people [i guess they would gain a lot of votes too though] Another thing, has anyone ever thought legalization, although it sounds grand, would just turn into another way for the government to make money? Or do you think that couldnt happen?

First, dope does make you enjoy yourself, see a problem in that? Ruins your head and your body as well. I'm a tobacco smoker and its not entirely good for anything. Same with pot. It's nasty. Try chewing gum, drinking...don't go on like booze is anything wrong, its lovely. i got a tin with dope on and if i found some nice mellow stuff nowadays i'd give it a go, but the strong stuff fucks with family life, honestly.

Secondly, if something is against the law in a hightech society, don't you think that that is going to get people into trouble by talking about it? think about it. don't talk so loud and i think you'll have an easy time. go places and live out the life of an honest man. not a snoopy i ll order that kinda moron.
