Does palmrolling wet hair cause breakage at the root at all? Is it kinder to palm roll dry? Just curious...

I think it would be kinder to palmroll dry because hair is definitely weaker when it's wet... but palmrolling when it's wet works much better *because* the hair is weaker and more malleable. I don't think palmrolling dry hair would do much. I've palmrolled after moistening my hair with aloe, so that could be a good compromise? Oh... and I don't go that close to the root when I palmroll anyway since I've got about 2 inches of loose hair up there (which is typical). Sort of pointless.

Palmrolling should be done in moderation regardless.

i palmroll when wet coz as already said the hair is more 'malleable' and also helps dry them..

i also do it when dry just to try and keep them rounded and even. I promised myself I would do it every day but I'm way too lazy hehe
