My best friend and I constantly do prank calls...we dont do the stupid kind where you harass the person and just breath into the phone or something but like today....we called random chinese/mexican/waffle house restaurants and my friend claimed he was a pastor at the local church and that we saw the ad for the easter egg hunt that they were having and were on our way with 20 kids. the reactions were hilarious...well in our opinions. they were like WHAT? WHAT EASTER EGG HUNT? 20 KIDS? jw if anyone else enjoys prank calls. i enjoy getting them too...in moderation. its fun to mess with them!
For a little while I was playing this game where I'd have phone sex with whoever called. My friend Chris and I came up with the idea. Eventually we ended up calling each other to have phone sex and it started getting weird. It was funny though.
it's kind of fun getting pranked at work when we're not busy... i've had some really fun conversations with prank callers. pisses me off to no end when we are busy though... that said, i don't make prank calls myself
you COULD call telemarketing establishments. not that the poor bastards that work there deserve to be harrassed, but the whole concept IS harrasment and needs to be outlawed entirely. =^^= .../\...
I don't prank call people. Although when I got my new cell I had a guy friend make noises as if he was masturbating and say, "God you have a nice ass" as a message on my bestfriend's voicemail. hahaha She was so freaked out until I called her. Haha she kicked the hell out of my shin. :tongue:
My friends and I used to prank each other, answer someone else's phone or call random numbers on each others phone and start a conversation like we knew the person. It was fun. oh, we also yelled things in the background when someone was on the phone.

I used to prank call a fair bit as a kid; pizza hut, dominos... easy numbers. I thought it was great fun till I got a phone call from some police station and got told off. He said if I didn't stop then he'd tell my parents. It definitely scared me enough that I never did it again. I was only about seven or eight, but at the time had been convinced I'd come very close to being sent to jail.
I would have thought prank calls went out with caller ID. When Dad was sick in January I was calling the hospital and kept getting transferred to some nurse's phone mail (or it went to a phone mail that was not established yet and so it just hung up). For one call I was given a phone number which I accidentally wrote down wrong and I left a nasty message about how hard it was to get in touch with people to find out how my Dad was doing. The hospital was an hour drive from my home so I was making many calls from home. I received a call back from a lady and started to go off on her when she said I had left my message on her personal phone and that she had nothing to do with the hospital. Color me embarrassed.

i guess if people want company that bad, to each their own. i don't have a phone because i don't have that much desire for company and don't feel that i need one. if i die someplace because i don't have one, you know, at my age, we know we're going to die sooner or later anyway.
I did a few as a kid but it wasn't really my thing. One time I tried a reverse prank call and it backfired. All names have been changed to protect the innocent. One summer in 9th grade my parents were out of town and I had some friends over, and one of the girls used my house phone to call her dad to tell him where she was (this was before cell phones). Anyways the night went on and people left and the phone rang, it was man asking to talk to Crissy. Me thinking it was a wrong number tried to reverse prank him. I said "yeah she's here but she can't talk, because MY DICKS IN HER MOUTH!" and hung up. He called back and my friend answered, "Oh yeah she been getting fucked all night! and hung up. We all laughed and then another buddy asked, who was the call for? I said oh some girl named Crissy. He said "Oh shit that was the girl that just left, that must have been her dad! Anyways, dad calls back pissed! saying, "LET ME TALK TO MY DAUGHTER!!!!", he had the cops trace the line, I apologized and told him she already left, he said the cops are one the way. We got scared cuz we had alcohol and drugs and no adults in the house. In the end she got home safe and the cops never showed up and we all laughed about it years later.
