i need some advice :(

Well, actually .. we broke up, he said that he needed some "fresh air", so he chose that other girl. I cried a lot, but now i feel better.. I think
We decided to remain friends and this is kind of strange, because we study at the same college and we meet very often to study whereas he seldom sees her.
He told me that he thinks we're made for each other and some day we're gonna be together again and all that stuff, but i realised that he wasn't the man i thought he was and maybe i deserve better. So, we're "friends" (even though i don't know if this is such a good idea because i still love him and i'm jealous when she sends him messages and stuff like that).
