My response to the propoganda about youth smoking

Just an amateur collage about hypocrisy. Anyone ever see those 'smoking is bad for teenagers' commercial?

You mean the ones that are done by phillip morris...you mean those "anti tabacco" commercials that are really just a sneaky way to legally advertise cigarrettes on tv??

 

is that what that is, I was wondering why every time the commercial comes on I have the urge to smoke?

I don't know who does them, but their message is so stupid. Cigarettes don't kill only teenagers. They kill plenty of parents too. They should lead by example because teenagers see right through this crap. 18 is not the age of reasoning. They develop intellect much earlier.

 

humans who haven't developed their reasoning skills by the time the're 12 or even 10, probably won't by the time the're 40 either.

Just like people who think making tougher sentences lead to less crime. A piece of naivete.

P.S. But the idea that these commercials are made by Phillip Morris is intriguing. That would be 'positive reinforcement' debunked.

looks a lot like the shite theyre required to put on the cig packages here, just a conglomerate of images. cig packs here have a picturea nd a short quip like 'cigs can lead to oral cancer' or 'smoking hurts your baby' or 'smoking makes you limp' and such.
personally.... i could give two shits. i dont smoke, i think smoking is dumb as fuck when we know how damaging it is (well, starting smoking, after yovue started theres an addiction to battle which is just extraspecial added fun), but thats just my opinion

 

I like the new song for the truth commercials - You don't always die from tobacco. haha My mom and I got in a fight over it. She thought I was laughing at her....she just doesn't know that I used to smoke.
