im still seeing things 5 days after my trip

i see neon colored outlines of what seems to be faces. but its dull but its enough to where i can see them. WIll it be like this forever?

if your anything like me, yes. But you do manage to get some control over it. I see normal now most of the time, but the ability is always there to click on a psychedelic vision mode, especially if your sitting or laying in the dark, but even just in complete daylight and around other people I can do it if I really want to, but people then usually ask 'are you ok' cause Im rather zoned out and pupils probably dilated by then. I can get to seeing the neon outlines on things fairly easily now, I do believe this is what people refer to when they talk about auras though. But I can even get to the point of bringing back the crawling geometry on surfaces... or even having physical take a background to another layer behind it, or in front? Im not sure. But anyways, I don't know how strongly you have the so called 'hppd' but, even if it seems rather involuntary right now, just focus on it daily, don't try to push it away, just pay attention to it and spend time with it and you will gain concious control over it. Kinda like... opening and closing third eye in a hindu context. One thing I really liked that Alex Grey said, "just how musicians always hear music, painters always see paintings" Having a very functional visual part of brain is only an issue if you don't know how to use it.

Although, the haidinger fringe theory only postulates that you can see the varying contrasts of light polarities between objects. Which may be completely true as to how the photons are actually functioning to deliver such an image to your pupil. But personally I think theres a bit more to the phenomena presented by the nature of the color of the outline, as in auras.
I've heard a number of people say they began noticing the entoptic phenomena only after psychedellics, which the obvious response to that would be that means you were always seeing such things, just that you never noticed before. Which you know is kind of flimsy. But I think it's true because I also started noticing floaters entoptic phenomena after LSD http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floaters
Which is said to be caused by the physical interior lining of your eye coming off and very literally floating around in the fluid of your eye. So certainly, my eyes interior didn't shed some skin from LSD, so I must have just not noticed it till LSD.

 

I did acid once, and quite a bit of ecstasy. When I'm really high some things look like they did when on acid. mainly the screen of my phone and iPod, they get a creapy soft glow, and the colors are the same but appear different (hard to explain)

I get floaters every once in a while, the first time it happened I was like, ".....wtf?" and just stood there. lolz I blame my floaters on mdma though not acid

 

I can do that too.

I can makae things fade in and out and change colours and do weird shit.
It takes like 2 minutes to get into the zone but when I do it, some fucked up shit happens. And I've never even done acid

 

Floaters? you mean when your mind just goes blank and you kind of loose balance for a spit second?

 

2nd trip. my first one was kinda weird. it was like my mind was blank the whole time but yet i was still thinking of crazy thoughts and images. it just felt like my mind wasnt being used at all thoe.

 

No they mean floaters like little seethrough junk that u can see because they are in your eye. look at the wiki page he linked.

Now i have had them since i cant remember when, but thought they were normal and everyone got them. Now your jus scarin me into having another health problem. :/

 

hmm did you come down after 12 hours? were you able to sleep well the last few days? did you smoke a lot of weed while tripping? it could be hppd...Idk that's kinda weird man...seeing faces?

 

i came down after about 16 hours. i havent took a hit off marijuana since a week before my trip. im trying to get my tolerance down. but i dont have an appetite for anyfood until after ive went all day with out and im getting ready to go to bed. but ive slept well.

 

Was it strong acid? I think thats usual, it will die down slowly. You sure you didnt come down after 12 and just buzzed till 16 and beyond? Usually with strong lsd i sleep at 13-14 hours but if i didnt sleep id still be pretty high.

 

yea im sure it was around 16 hours. and my eyes are still dilated and people are scared of me i think. cause i look like a mad man. with the huge eyes. and it kicked in within minutes after 2 hits. So i believe it was pretty strong. Way stronger than the first acid i ever had thats for sure
