Hahaha...A lot of fighting and minimal violent sex scenes..And yet you say its worth watching...We'll see, we'll see....
hey relayer, i dont know if this counts for you or not cause its a series rather than a movie, but it sounds like elfen lied is definitely, definitely up your alley. also possibly gantz, though it is also a series. i recently saw the hills have eyes and it was disturbing but unimpressive. i dont think rosemary's baby is very disturbing, but its a decent movie. ditto the omen. i have seen ninja scroll but remember very little of it. a friend lent it to me recently though and i will watch it again soon. but definitely check out elfen lied, definitely...
i suppose my favorite disturbing movie is the shining. i love it. i dont really think of it as disturbing, though, as i've seen it so many times that it doesnt bother or scare me in the least. i've had many nights of chilling alone watching it with the lights off smoking a blunt or something. still wouldnt watch it while tripping though i also found kids pretty disturbing, but in a slightly different way. thats actually harder for me to watch than many movies, to be honest
its one of my favorites, relayer! ranging from really funny, endearing cutesy scenes to scenes of unspeakable violence and torture and such.... great character development and a good story overall i think and dont know if "love it already" means you already have seen it and like it or if the pictures simply are enticing.... so i'll assume you havent seen it.... the plot essentially revolves around a number of young girls with horns, which are some a variety of mutated humans referred to as diclonius. they are kept locked up in research facilities, treated as subhuman animals and extensive tortorous "research" is performed, almost usually ending in the death of the diclonious..... the second picture is a scene where one of the main characters, as a young child (before they all got locked up and studied/tortured/killed) was being tormented by her schoolmates for looking different....she befriends a puppy, who the class bullies find and torture while shes held back....she snaps and decapitates them all in retaliation.... its a strange show.... if you did mean you've already seen it, then this is for the benefit of those who haven't, who may be interested...
i don't find movies disturbing none of them stick with me either i think the closest a movies come to disturbing me was making me feel dumber for watching it idiocracy disturbed me because i could see that happening...
the mist was decently disturbing. creepy critters (the spiderthings grossed me out) and humanity being fucking idiots about religion. hated the ending though. a nd its probably not gory enough for you i avoided watchign hills have eyes due to what i heard about its violence and rape scene, so maybe its up your alley
IT is the only movie ive never watched all the way through cuz i was scared shitless. I was only 10 though.
i have no idea, is that anime? i've watched a bunch of anime, some gory stuff i just find it hard to be disturbed by something that's drawn although even if it was live action, i'm pretty desensitized children of men kinda disturbed me because i just kept thinking in my head, this whole warfare is going on right now all around the world
It is anime yea, a mix of hentai, demon rape, and ultra head chopping violence. Shit, the city blows up eventualy
yes i think my friends showed that to me one night not disturbing weird, but not disturbing to me "let us take you back to 1939 where charlie chaplin and his evil nazi regime enslaved europe" idiocracy was funny, i watched it recently
I cant say I liked Idiocracy. The only thing disturbing about it for me what's the movie in itself. I've been trying to think about a disturbing movie, but I guess Im kinda like you Jess, movies dont really disturb me anymore. Children of Men is one my favorite movies, there is the one scene when everybody stops shooting to let them through, it's so powerful. I love it.
