ok i feel like ive posted a 100 bullitens about music on acid on this forum but i just tripped last night and i feel the need to tell this to people because my mind is still going quite fast.....but i just finished listening to nirvana - rape me...and that song is fuckin awesome...not trippy but it is just a fuckin awesome song man kobain on guitar and grohl on drums together fucking shred like no other
I feel that music on any psychedelic has an important place. it's not always necessary, but it's a good way to navigate your trip. I found that on lsd the music selections up to and during the peak had to be very gentle and minimal, like soft sustained piano notes. new age and ambient, etc. then after the peak, any of my normal favorites are just great.
if you think curt cobain can "shred" your head will explode if you listen to the Grateful Dead or the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Nirvana is alright but "shred" is not a word that comes to mind when I think of them.
you can have some amazing experiences listening to music on a good dose of acid. but otherwise music sounds pretty fucknig good on pills. and psytrance sounds unbeleivable on ice.
i know music very well ive listened to the greatful dead and i think they fucking suck. jimi hendrix is good but nirvana is a much better band IMO then jimi hendrix band was
My spritual awakening where I tore through the surface was on 5 hits of good blotter and The Piper at the Gates of Dawn album by Pink Floyd on FULL BLAST staring at the clouds arrange into a heaven of psychedelic glory. I could hear/feel/taste/see the music. You need to listen to this album and crank it up as lound as it can go. Its something else. Also the Anthem of Sun by the Grateful Dead is a VERY psychedelic album as well.
lol at nirvana was better then jimi hendrix experience. everyone is entitled to thier own opinion. And you know what opinions are like... assholes, everyone has got one but some stink more than others. Prone420... dude, Pipers is one of my favorite trippin and/or tokin' albums. Honestly, I love every song on the cd.
Pipers good... I wish syd had of been with floyd to record Madcap, it would have been a lot better. I mean it was still good but the recordings seem kind of empty.

lol i think its all about what your feeling at the moment....if ur on good enough acid u dont need music to make u trip out u can just listen to what u feel like listening to. jimi hendrix is fucking great. he plays one of the best guitars ive ever heard. but i would much rather put in a nirvana album then a hendrix
