Good morning starshine, the earth says hello.

Helloooo. I hope you like the title of my thread. Ha! I guess I'll tell you about myself. I've got long black hair and blue eyes. I'm Native American (Muscogee tribe), vegetarian, and my favorite band is the Ramones. I also love T. Rex, Jefferson Airplane, Elvis Presley, the Everley Brothers, Haley and the Comets, The Stooges, MC5 and the Beatles. I'm really into classic rock and roll, not the shit with the guitar solos. Like fifties and early sixties style. Psychedelic is great too, but it's not real rock and roll, though I do loooove it. I'm also pretty cynical and have an unusual sense of humor. I have alot to say to people, and I'm really blunt and honest. I can't stand people who try too hard to act like a hippie and label themselves, so I was sort of reluctant to even join this.

I love writing, reading, and art. My favorite sixties icon would have to be Jacqueline Onassis, the Kennedys, and Abbie Hoffman. I also smoke, drink lots of coffee, and am fascinated by any baby boomer I meet. I'm also fascinated by the beat generation and its rebellion. Jack Kerouac was amazing, and he's my idol. His philosophies and life are so intriguing.

Ahh well enough about me. I hope I'm welcome. Peeaacceeee.

welcome to the forums, don't worry to much about people who try too hard and stay out of the hippies section, than you won't have to read through threads like "name ten things that are the most important for being a hippie" like ur style, ramones, mc5, stooges, those are great bands
