Natural blondes are great and pretty rare at that. Blonde, brunette, whatever... but I think hair looks best when it's natural and untouched. Just my opinion. :D

Ditto what ThinkOriginal said. I'm naturally auburn, but right now I'm a strawberry blonde. I like it! I look good, and because it's just a ligher version of my natural auburn, it looks fairly natural. ('cept for when the black roots grow in :p ) I love my original colour, but sometimes one just needs a change. I like going brunette too, and I've gone pink and red and blue and purple too, and all the colours in between.

I'm a natural blonde, but it always gets darker and not near as pretty in the winter. Today I started thinking about maybe dyeing it. I went red two years ago on halloween, and after that exploit I promised myself I would never do anthing to my hair again. But it's just not making me happy at the moment, and it would be fun to have a crazy change...

And since I've dyed it once already, I don't have the hair purity, 'it's never been touched' thing going anyway, so why not?

I was born with blonde hair but now it's that "dirty-blonde" color, which, to me, looks kinda of dull, but I'll stick with it naturally. When I was 14 I lemon dyed it blonde when it started to get darker because I didn't want to lose my natural color, and when I was 16 I dyed it red because I ran away to the other side of the country and cops were looking for me, but other than that I don't like fucking with my hair. I'm pretty low-maintenace...more like non-maintenance.

You know, a girl at school today was crying because her hair was it's natural color. Apparently, she dyed it so much, the blonde wouldn't hold anymore.

    But oh well... :)

Being blonde myself and never dying my hair.. I have also had the dreded winter dulls in my hair..when I started making my own natural products.. soaps, shampoos, creams, lotions, salves and a veriety of other healing and beautifacation products. I discovered that Lemon juice in a Chamomile rinse will keep the highlights in blonde hair during the dulls of winter..sage or rosmary for brunetts and henna for redheads.. the FDA had stated that dark dye on your hair can give you cancer...there are many many herbs and essential oils that will help keep your color viberant and glistening..

I'm naturally blonde and dye it lighter because I like lighter blonde better. I wouldn't die it another color because I'm very pale and have a lot of red in my face. Nothing but blonde works with my skin.

I also have dirty blonde hair and to me it is almost like having no color at all so I like to keep highlights in it. All my girlfriends who have this color share my pain and dye their hair as well to a lighter blonde.. It just looks better to us..

i love the CA blonde type hair but i hate the cheesy fake almost grey playboy playmate type hair. i prefer dark ahir i just think its prettier. but some girls w/ blonde hair are gorgeous. i think that its the most common hair color just bc its viewed as a classic and its kinda hard to go wrong with it.

I went through a major bleached blonde phase for a few years when I was in high school. It was totally killing my hair, frying it. I decided I had had enough and had it colored as close to my natural hair color as I could, and then just let it do whatever it wanted from there. Now? It's naturally an auburn color and very healthy.

I won't ever go back to blonde, but I wouldn't mind some caramel colored highlights. ;)

Aww thats so sad... why do so many chinese hate their hair? I love their hair - so glossy and black and shiny, its beautiful!! I am Indian and there is a thing among Indian women to dye their hair even more black than it already is. Its considered more "ideal". So its cultural how we view our hair. I have black hair and would never dye it blonde (but I wouldn't mind some chocolate highlights) :p.

I think men in the West are "conditioned" to think blonde hair is more attractive, which is why so many women go for that look. Hollywood has a hell of a lot to answer for.

Same here. I started dying it blonder and then went to reddish brown, then to dark brown, then to black, then to red, then a long slow process back to blonde. A couple of times I tried going back to my natural hair color but it just looks so ashy. :( I just made an appointment to get my hair done (sooo much better to fork over the money instead of do it yourself...the stuff on the shelf is even worse for your hair) and I decided to do brown on the bottom(underneath that is) and blonde on the top. I've only seen a couple girls do this and I think it looks really cool. I live in So. Cal right now and alot of girls do dye their hair but not just blonde...highlights are really big right now, even for brunettes. For some it may be part of self expression, I think it's an addiction. Like tattoos...once you start you can't stop. ;)
