Goodness, I have lots of different types of shoes. I mainly wear my athletic shoes, but wear a lot of really high-heeled knee high boots in the colder weather, platform sandals/wedges in the warmer weather, or simply barefoot, which is my most favored option. You'd think someone who loves being barefoot would choose more comfortable options for her feet when required to wear shoes, but nooo... ;)

i have some beloved, old-faithful addidas sneakers. i have a checkered pair of slip-on vans, and a pair of black, thick-soled lace ups, for when i wanna pretend to care about how i look.

I prefer my Birks becuase they slip on and off, I got a pair of vans and a pair docs I like (not boots) and I wear flight deck safety boots most of all. I am wearing some black slippers right now, but as soon as it warms up its bare feet at home and Birks whenever possible w/ the exception of dressing up.

I wear Mack safety boots at work, Chuck Taylor's for play, cheap knock-off crocs around the house and I have a pair of ancient Dingos to the pub. And I barefoot a lot.

Edit - and I hike in NewBalance 806ATs. They kicks ass.
