What is the difference between pipes and bubblers besides there looks and designs? are they sorta like a mix between a bong and a pipe?
Pipes have no filtration system. Bubblers have water in a chamber that you pull the smoke through, cooling the smoke and filtering it, making the hit smoother and less harsh feeling (but apparently is not healthier, but who cares your smoking) Bubblers are the shit, basicly just a small form of a water bong.
Same princable with a bubbler, just smaller (And replace the stem with bowl), as you can see the smoke starts at the stem and is pulled under water in small bubbles and then reaches the top into your mouth.
Opps im sorry, I meant they are THE shit (I edited). very sorry.. damn weed.. I like them alot better then a pipe., although a good pipe can do its job well.
yeah man I would really recommend you buy one if you know your gonna smoke more then once a month, if you get a mini bubbler (basicly just a single water chamber nothing fancy, there not really mini but there the smallest size you can get) there pretty cheap are really the best for casual smokers because they deliver smooth hits and use your weed good, you can stash it cause its small (Watch the water!). Smoking out of a straight pipe or one hitter is too harsh for me. I miss the days when i smoked out of a huge water bong with a ice catcher at the top, now thats the shiz! ice cold smooth hits, get you high with like 2 tokes.
if you're really on a budget and not lookin for something too fancy... this is where its at... i have $100's of worth of glass.. and i still have a lil place in my heart for this guy... love it... small.. portable... easy to clean.. if you wanna clean'em
Yeah or through the mouth peice or whatever.. it doesnt matter you cant change the water when theres weed in the bowl. Dont put alot of water in there, youl see why when you go to take a hit, just enough to get a bubble sound while taking a good strong pull.
