You could probably put "Cybering" into that category too couldn't you?

Anyway, I can't see how it can be. I mean if you watch porno's you get off by watching / listening to other people!

err, i say it's a form of cheating. anything with another person that you don't tell your significant other is no good for a healthy relationship, that's for sure. but it seems that a lot of people aren't really into healthy relationships. so whatever helps your friend to sleep at night, i guess...

Pornos are fake situation with no chance of physical escalation. These two scenarios provided have limited chance of physical escalation, more so with cybering IMO, but never the less the intent is there.

That's what life is all about. Not what you do and say, but you're intent behind it all.

yeah, but talking to someone on the phone about the kinky shit you wish you were doing to them and not telling your lover about it isn't cool, either. definitely not cheating, but definitely not honest.

Maybe you do want it to escalate.

But if there is no physical contact and exchange of fluids I don't consider it cheating.

it is for my bf and i
weve discussed shit like cybering being a no no
but phonesex and cybersex are, well, specific to the relationship. ie, if its ok with both parties its not cheating. if one of them isnt ok with it, its cheating. in truth, this is the same for physical intercourse, just thats less commonly seen as acceptable

    I agree.

If the conversation can't be had in front of your significant other, (barring surprises and the like) then you're being dishonest.
