Hi! My name is Pauli and Im from Finland. Finland is a cold and dark place in the northern Europe. Well it's cold and dark, for most of the year. But when the sun doesn't rice in the winter, It wont go down in the summer. I really love summertime here. Just laying in the beach and listening birds singing and trees humming, water splashing, sometimes for all day and night ...But the winter, complete opposite. Nobody talks to each other, all is full of melancholy and sadness. You don't see a happy face here in the darkest parts of the year. And if you make one, you are propably concidered mentally disturbed. But hey! Do I need to feel that way in the winter? No way! And does it matter what people thinks..? I don't think so. When the summer comes then everybody starts to feel happy again, and then it's also possible to get a smile in the city Think it's got something to do with the light. Well, the winter is not all bad.. You can cross-country skee, iceskate and slide some hills or what ever. Spring-winter, as we call it here, is a nice time to do all kinds of snow because there is more light. This is the time right now.. ok. Well, still, I think, Im glad it's allmost over and spring is coming We still had 30cm snow today because of a blizzard, but it will melt away in a few days, week perhaps. And then more and more light. Well that's a big chunk of my home country. The real reason im here is to get a little sunshine to myself, my thoughts and feelings. To know that there is love in the air all year around. Positive feelings.. and im a little hippy too Peace and love to ya all!
