Hey guys... Well, I just picked up tickets for this one... and I'm quite excited... the lineup is awesome... Anyhow, I was wondering (as this is my first real festival)... been to lots of small local ones.. but... 1. Are these usually quite "herb friendly"? I'm coming up from Canada... and American laws sometimes scare me quite a bit... How is the scean? Laid back and easy, or is it quite risky in that area (michigan). 2. Anyone else going? We've talked about a "hip gathering"... perhaps it would be a cool spot to hookup for brunch if anyone of you guys are going. Peace Soc
Yea, I also noticed they are searching cars (it states this on the website)... Is that a big deal? will it make things hard to find when we get there? (as were obviously not brining anything over the border). Soc
There will be lots of drugs there. You will have no problems finding drugs or doing them out in the open. The car search is for large amounts and glass bottles. It will be a great time, there is a festival forum for hip people going and a thread in the stoners lounge just search for it and see who alls going.
when they´re searching cars at the gate, your personal stash should be just fine as long as you make SOME decent attempt at hiding it. they´re looking for nitrous tanks and other large shit. and with most festivals, the idea is that you´re all contained, so you´re almost free to do whatever you want. NOT ALWAYS THE CASE, THOUGH. once you´re there, you´ll be able to pick up on what you can and cant do.
Hey guys, Thanks... belive it or not, I do feel much better... I was a bit worried as in the past, I've seen some pretty horrible things... I remember a few years ago (but this was in NY state), I was at the the dead show @ Darian Lake... I acctaully saw cops hauling people away for simply smoking... (it was those mean fuckers that wear those funny looking cowboy hats).... Troppers I belive they are called.... It really hurt to see these folks (the most peaceful people you would meet in your life) being treated like Criminals... and dude, being from another country makes it extra scary... but hey, this will be a lot bigger... and I'm pretty sure cops (at least I think) they should have more to do at this one than surch for a bunch of hippies who are hurting no one.
