Panic plays red rocks the weekend before..a few of my pals from stl were coming out to panic on the rocks...they have cancelled their red rocks trip for this festie...its going to be pretty heady brah. tix are going to be going for 250, which ain't too bad for all the acts.
sounds good but i dont want to make the drive by myself and unless emery, afi, hawthorne heights, or bands like that are gonna be playing none of my friends will go with me. But it would be nice to meet ya in person, see yonder, and i do need to get to a festival sometime to get next years acid supply. So perhaps i will go and maybe i can even get someone on the forums to go with me.
As you know I don't mind going solo to shows, I've never done a festie solo and don't think I would. Although after the first day you know everyone around you anyways. I might have to do Yarmonygrass solo in August but that's still a long shot off to worry about. Thread highjack time, next week you have to make it to yonder in Columbus man. Jon Fishman the great drummer from PHISH, will be sitting in with them.
i should but i kinda already owe my roommate money for doses, well if we get doses. My dude still hasnt gotten back to me about it but i really wanna trip and im sure you know my dose connection is never good and half the time she doesnt pick up her phone, but at least i got a couple ten strips from her before i started getting ignored. My plan to go was to get my dad into them and go with him to the show but that didnt work. Although he does like them just not enough to see them live. Next time i go back to do laundry ill try and swindle some money out of my mom for a ticket. Shit i just remembered i still owe alex on here money. Fuck everything is just happening at a bad time...

But if I ever do bring Jade to a festival she'd LOVE it. She'd be dancing like crazy, and flirting with all the people. She's the best little toddler ever!
I'm applying for work on the greening crew (like an in house clean vibes) Idk about the drive to michigan possibly by myself though. I would love to make it to rothbury, it has the lineup to possibly take festival of the year. And TheShow, going to festies alone is boss. You get to choose your own schedule and not worry about friends. I went to bonnaroo solo last year and it was awesome. btw i saw fishman with the Del McCoury band on NYE and he knows how to get down and drum with some bluegrass!! If I end up not buying tix for langerado I'll probably be in columbus

TheShow is definitely game Soc. I also have a Roth thread going in the Events and Festie forum. My friend and I were just talking about this tonight and how pumped we've been since it was announced and how we can't wait until July. I'm ending June with 3 nights of panic on the Rocks and then heading out to Roth maybe catching the WSP show in KC if it happens.
They've also added a fewbands since I posted here..I'm really excited to see Greensky Bluegrass, but everytime this year when I was supposed to see them something shitty has come up and prevented me from getting there.
Hey Theshow, Defiantly, lets see if we can setup a small (or large), hipforum gathering at Rothbury... Should be easy to do... we pick a time/place - maybe have a banner up that reads "hipforums.com"... would be nice to put a face to the writing sometime. As for the show... dude.. I don't think you could immagine how fucking excited I am about this one... Were heading to Jamaica for a week in June, then the festival a month later... man, I missed summer! Anyhow, yea, the lineup is probably the best I've seen in a while... Only thing missing (imo) is Ratdog... maybe the allmans... but hey, fuck, we have Theivory Corporation, Micky Heart, Lesh, OMG.. too many to mention... I'm even exited about snoop dog...
