Anyone ever used aquarium water on the garden??

    Well, the title says it all...
    I read somewhere it was a good idea as there are lots of nitrates in aquarium water.
    Anyone BTDT??

    Aren't we supposed to keep nitrates OUT of our aquariums?

    I suppose the fish detritus might be good for the plants though.

    I've only had a ten gallon aquarium hardly worth the effort on my garden, but like peeing on compost, probably as favorable.
