ive been listening to a lot of reggae recently. like matisyahu, barrington levy, toots and the maytals, KING TUBBY some good stuff right there.
if you are high right now, listen to rainbowwarriors by cocorosie. im listening to it for the first time now, my friend downloaded it for me...its tweaky as shit.
I listen to a bunch of stuff, but as of lately I've been listening to The Cure, Death Cab for Cutie, Minus the Bear, Bright Eyes, Nickel Creek, Stephanie Dosen, etc... Most of the time when I'm high, I work on my own music, though. If I'm feeling lazy, then I'll just turn on some jams or watch some TV.
I listen to everything I usually listen to, but USUALLY if I'm high, I gotta turn on this band Shpongle! They're incredible, like psychedelic electronica (I usually hate electronica) so cool. I've also been know to enjoy the musical stylings of Yes, Pink Floyd, Kaipa, Spock's Beard, The Flower Kings, Genesis and other prog rock. Progressive rock is so much fun to just jam out to when you're really baked!!
i smoked last night to daft punk. its like you can feel the beat of the song in your bloodstream. Also i put on pink floyd last night, the first 2 songs on the dark side of the moon are trippy as fuck. Especially Speak/Breath in the air. The heart beat is insane
LOL yeah...Daft Punk is wicked while baked...I like Around the world cause the bass is so trippy & Aerodynamic cause the guitar sounds wicked (even though its Synthesized ).
I just bought the Clash record London Calling and it is currently my favorite rock album at this point in my life. Stone or sober, it still sounds perfect to me. For those who said they like Sublime, this album kind of helped to define that style of rock/ reggae. Also, if you haven't already got it, Dylan's Blonde on Blonde is the foundation of a respectable music collection.
London Calling is a pretty good album. I don't get why everyone's so big on Daft Punk though. Every song I've ever heard by them sounds the same. Yesterday I went to Sweet Leaf for my 4:20 bowl.
Maybe you havent heard many of their songs. While its true some songs sound quite similar but it still sounds good, its their unquie sound I guess...
The allman brothers are great.Grateful dead. Red Hot chilli peppers. Zeppelin. SLIGHTLY STOOPID(MUST). Sublime. BOB MARLEY. Bob dylan. Doors. Hendrix. And so many many more
It's gotta be Three Six Mafia, but y'all knew that already. I'm listening to The Wall Live 1980-81 right now. Goodbye Blue Sky is the shizz:spliff:
