a friend of mine recently made some cannabutter from vaporized weed. this is the 3rd or 4th......or 2nd time he´s made it. at least a couple of times before.

all the weed that gets put through the Volcano is saved. based on the container it was in, there was probably a little over an ounce (ground up, dry and brown, of course). one stick of butter (1/2 cup melted) was used to make the cannabutter, then used in the recipe.

i had 3 PB cups for breakfast and it did me right fine. in fact, i was pretty f´ed up for a while. wasnt really outstanding vs. other ganja food i´ve had but is still unique. i´m not sure on this, but i think when vaporizing you´re getting mostly THC. the other cannabinoides are still there. these are more responsible for the bodily effects of weed, the "couch-lock." when consuming mostly those cannabinoides, you get more of that body high while your head is still kinda clear.
that´s exactly what i felt from these.

the taste is also so peculiar to vaporized weed. you can also scrape the resin that gathers on the metal plunger and inside the valve and smear that on some bud. it´s more like hash than resin and will fuck you up in a really specific way. it tastes the same as does the butter.

with the Volcano, you can actually get high off the same weed FIVE TIMES OVER:
    1- vaporizing weed (first time)
2- revaporizing weed (when you´re hard up for a stash - it does the trick, and then some)
    3- scraping the vapor-resin
4- making cannabutter with the vaporized remains
5- since you should be using a grinder with all vaporizers, you should be using one with a kief collector/screen. it´s still a product from the original weed you vaporized, so it at least seems like a bonus!

plus, you dont even need to use all that much to get ridiculously stoned. so while CONSERVING weed, you´re getting high FIVE TIMES from the same shit!!!!!

one of the best things he´s ever bought...

Yeah I do all of the above right there. I don't really like butter personally, because with my tolerance it seems that I either don't feel anything or I overshoot the dose by so much that I pass out.

but the quality's gonna be crap if its post-vaporized

why not spend that time finding some money to buy more weed

Hmm.. so it might actually be worth the 500-600$ after all. I'm seriously considering saving up for a volcano of my own.

because it´s the novelty of getting high AGAIN off the same weed. for all the effort it takes to save the vaped. weed and make the butter, its not very time-effective.

yeah, the quality is much, much lower, but it´ll still get you high. besides, every time the vapor-butter is made, the end product is given away so many people can get high from it. in this case, they were peanut butter cups. i´ll take a free high any day regardless of the quality (well, i dont like smokin schwag...) - especially if it´s from weed that i´ve already gotten high from.

it´s not like i dont have weed to smoke - this is just another way of squeezing out every last drop of THC from this wonderful plant.
