If everyone in America stopped buying Exxon gas for one year, they would be forced to reduce their prices to gain back customers. Because of that, other gas companies would be forced to reduce theirs aswell to balance the competition, right? What would you do if by next year, all the gas prices were at a reasonable price again?

Gas in my town is about 4.35... Its rediculous. Who agrees?

Exxon, Texico, Chevron run all the gas.. it doesn't matter who you buy from, it all comes from the same place, the same ppl get the $$.

We who live in rual areas have no choice, we have to buy what is available to us.. it sucks.. it's a rip off and it's the governments fault for buying from OPEC.. we have enough oil in the US to cary us till we can go green or get nucular power.

It stopped being rediculas at 3.00 and became criminal. It's the money game, and the usa is the top player. boycot the government, stop paying state and county taxes. If Texas alone would stop paying taxes, the government would have to change stratigies in a hurry. Income tax you have to pay or go to prison, but state and federal taxes are different.

I'm not up on the legal issues, but I have been told that Texas has it's own constitution and taxes are optional. I don't know if this is true, but if it is, and there is no penalty for not paying them, then it would be a perfect way to get the governments attention.

If someone knows more about this then I do (which I am positive there is) now would be a good time to come forward and start making a plan of action.

no, not around here.. we'd have to drive 0ver 35 miles to find a station that does not buy from over seas. It is counter productive to spend $25.00 on gas looking for a station other than the above mentioned.

I'm sure I'm not the only one in this particular situation.. using less gas would suit the purpose better. The whole point is to find Alternative sources of energy. To force the government into turning green or going nucular.

Not that it isn't a great idea, it's just for some it isn't possible.

    Bright Blessings
