Well, actually, I am very conservative and believe in a lot of things.


I believe in the Iraq war is a good cause, I think McCain should be president, I believe in the death penalty, I think Obama sucks.

I'm very conservative except for one thing.

I believe Marijuana should be 100% legal, kinda weird

 

If you think about it, the war in Iraq is awesome. Let the hippies go without oil for a few months, and they'll be crying for us to turn the place into a parking lot for cheap oil. "Waaa, we have no heat up here in Maine now during the winter! All the trees have been burned! Waaa, our cars don't run so we can't go to Bonaroo! Waa, the Internet barely functions now!"

I am not a conservative, but I am most certainly not a liberal.

These are meaningless labels, though, and are all about creating divisions. However, I will say that liberals are some of the biggest dupes... pretty much right in line with their neocon counterparts, if not more so.

 

So how would we not have oil if we weren't fighting this war? Makes no sense. Plus, we are paying more for gas than ever before. Where is your logic?

Remember the Oil Embargo in the 70's? Same thing here. Once the dust has settled from the war, gas prices will probably be right on the cheap again.

 

No, when the value of the dollar is the equivalent of toilet paper and continues to fall, that means gas prices are only going to continue to rise. Gas is never going to be "cheap" again.

 

Republicans support and represent so many horrible atrocities that I'm sorry I just try to avoid them.

 

Yeah, that's true. But so do Democrats. I can think of many horrible things Clinton did, namely his bombing of the Sudanese aspirin factory in '98.

The problem with people taking sides is that they never want to look at their own side (or what they believe is their side).

There is not a dime's worth of difference between the two parties.

Are you crazy? I'm no fan of most conservatives but it is a fact that most liberals seem to be the angry ones and not conservatives!

i think most people on this site now, or should i say a majority of those who hang out here in random thoughts, or a lot of them anyway, are some kind of right wing loonie deliberately screwing it up by dumbing it down.
