Here is a link to welcome home. All the info you need can be found here. Everyone seems to have different highlights and problems at the gatherings, so its hard to answer some of your questions. Treat it like any other event. Keep an eye on your kids. The rowdy's usually stay in A-camp. Nudity is abound but is usually kept away from kiddie kamp. I plan to bring my sewing stuff with me just in case and I'm sure others will too. You may find someone to trade for repairs on your quilts. It would make a nice story and give your quilts more history and memories. I hope this helps... Peace, Tokin.

I suggest doing a search of this forum also, with keywords like "kiddie" to get others' perspectives.

I have 3 kids. My oldest is almost 8 and has been on the road with me since birth. He has been to almost all the gatherings that I have. My little girl has been to many also. I just had a baby this year and I cant wait tobring him out. Of course you have to use commen sense, but basically I feel that my kids are alot more safer and loved when we are at gatherings. And they love it. They have already started asking me how long until its time to go. We hang out at kiddie villege alot, its great there. There are alot of kids for yours to play with. They make healthy meals and have good drinking water. Usually they build a great play place, like swings and slides. I cant imigane not taking my kids.
