is it supposed to effectively save a significant amount of resources?

I wounder if the Google people are going to turn off their computer servers?

Their average sever uses way more power in an hour than most house lights in an average house use in an entire day.

Of course they could not be cooperating with the Chinese government in finding and imprisoning people that express their feelings against the Chinese government, if they turned off their servers for an hour.

Google is playing the Green Marketing card and pretending that they care. People will eat that shit up and say it is good.

Well, I guess if being informed means being paranoid, then so be it.

But I am sure Prince Philip and Prince Bernhard only want to protect the environment, that way us "commoners" have cleaner air to breathe. Who cares if Bernhard was a Nazi and that both believe strongly in eugenics and population reduction. We shouldn't ask questions about these things. It's not politically correct. We should just keep parroting all these empty mantras about saving the planet.

 

My guess would be that alcohol deadens the pain.
