Looks like Mark David Chapman will be out soon. I wonder who he'll kill next...

So if you shoot someone famous you should get a harder sentence?

 

I know of a few convinience store clerks who got shot in robberies and their killers fried for it.


I say let Chapman out. I'm sure he'll be "welcomed back" into society with open arms.

ehm.. I'll say it so.. I know John wouldn't agree with killing somebody, and I in person wouldn't like to kill Chapman, but HE's killed the God of sooooo many people that I'm afraid that someony of these fans could simply forget John's philospohy and would like to kill the killer of his/her God..

 

a god? if he is a god I think he'd frown even more upon that for if he was a god he would understand and love his killer regardless, I think thats like christians scauffing at non christians kinda deal

 

There was some guy who walked across America barefoot or something to see Jon Lennon, and when he showed up, Jon was quite civil and polite, but basically kind of said: "What the fuck is wrong with you man?"

Lennon would not approve of being called a god, certainly, and definitely wouldn't approve of someone killing in his name. Chapman may deserve it, but it's not for fanatics to apportion justice and yr sympathy for them is quite troubling really.

 

I've often wondered how much money Yoko Ono paid this Chapman fellow to off her hubby???? Anyone else have that cross their mind?

 

hahahahh yeah for a split second or too... killing a pop star is quite literaly bonkers. Not sure what was going through the blokes mind. He has served a long time . We have no real idea how he has changed or what he thinks now. I doubt he is a real threat to anyome anymore ... mmm possibly maybe yoko for living off lennons status for decades.
