    So here's a question:

All the books I've read and DVD's I've seen and websites I've been to stress the importance of doing meditation and yoga with a straight back (for yoga, in relevant postures, of course). They seem to assume that you start out with one. But I can't sit up straight without a lot of pain. It's not a hunchback or anything, just a slight curvature of the spine. Even when I lay flat, my back is curved. So does anyone have any suggestions on either how to adjust in yoga/meditation or how to help fix it throught yoga/meditation?

    Thanks
