    We have matching conch piercings.

    I think so.

Has to be, there aren't that many out there. Everybody but 2 other people that I know to have gotten the piercing took it out in less than a week. Damn wimps.

I got my conch pierced at a 10g with a dermal press. It bled like a mother fucker, and made a huge CRUNCH! noise...but it has been the easiest piercing I've had to date so far.

I had a 260 lb man pierce man, so it slid like butter, but the healing is worse than any piercing/tattoo I've ever had.

A local lady had hers dermal punched at 2's. I heard it's bad to do dermals there though because if you cut out enough capillary's(sp?), then you're ear can basically 'die' from lack of blood.

Dermal punched at 2's?!?! Would there even be much ear left afterwards?? That's ridiculous.

Orginally, I was pretty skeptical about the dermal press. Especially at the gauge they suggested. But I figured, piercer knows best right?
They used a larger gauge to make for a larger surface area of the piercing, which allows for way faster healing time. I'm so glad we went this route, as opposed to a regular piercing...everyone I've talked to has had the worst time healing their conch and mine hasn't bothered me since. But man oh man, it was painful.

I can't decide if I want a second one on my other ear to match, or if I want 3 of them cascading in size in one ear, but either way, I must get another one. It's the most satisfying piercing.

Three in one ear would be neat! It would most likely be a lot of work too, but it would definetly be worth it.

I'm planning on getting my vertical labret done in january. But I've finally decided upon a tattoo, and I don't know which I should get done first.
