I was looking through my spice rack (I have about two dozen spices/herbs) and noticed nutmeg, which has been untouched. What are some recipes I can incorporate nut meg into?
Here's a list of soups with nutmeg in them... http://allrecipes.com/Search/Ingredients.aspx?WithTerm=soup&SearchIn=All&Wanted1=nutmeg
french toast...until you've tried it with nutmeg you've never really tried it. Hereis my personal made-up recipe: serves 2 people: Batter: 3 eggs 1/2 tsp nutmeg 2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 cup low-fat milk 1/4 tsp celtic sea salt 3 TB maple syrup 1/2 french baquete-sliced 1/2 inche wide slices Topping: 1 pint cored and sliced strwberries 1 TB lemon juice 2 Tb agave (or 2tsp sugar if you do not have agave) Actually soak the bequete slices for a few minutes instead of just dipping them in.
When Andy makes it he likes to dip it in almonds after the batter and then fry it in butter...so good...but so bad, but his french toast is my favovirte food in the world
eat a tbsp of it... drink a lot of water after cuz it doesnt taste too good. or u could smoke it but smoking hurts and tastes terrible but i like it. works good for when i dont have weed but right now i dont have either... damn.. and nice sig pic btw
anything you put cinnamon into, a little dash of nutmeg will make it better i put cinnamon, clove and nutmeg into damn near every dessert i make
