i can't recall ever having a feeling like this. wondering if anyone has.

im on break from college at the moment and i took a small vaction with my family and a group of friends. well one day i decided to break away from everyone and take a few runs alone. im on the chair with my music destroying my ears, the view is beautiful, pure white on every mountain you can see, and you can see for miles and miles, over a foot of fresh. you really cant ask for anything better if you board or ski. i started thinking about school. a bunch of thoughts started to run through my head. i passed my english class and did very well, im off work, i finally get to see my family. this is also my first week off in a year.

then i get this rush. i swear it hit me like my body almost felt lighter. i had a face mask and goggles on so you cant see any expression. i started to smile and i couldnt hold it back. i felt like i was 10 or something at disneyland for the first time. this feeling of being so happy started to bring tears to my eyes. i cant described it as best as i felt but it was amazing. now that i think about that moment its like i wont get another like it. i felt pure or something. i dont know. just wish everyone could experience something like it. the best part about it was,

    i was sober.

That sounds pretty nice, having no worries and a good break, don't always need drugs.

    Sounds great!! :)
i think this is a moment of being the essence or connecting to the divine once more. whenever it happens to me it brings tears to my eyes also!
i would call this more than "having no worries and a good break" though. but thats just me.

i love that feeling. i get that sometimes when i have an enlightening thought or when im around my family and old friends. its like an overwhelming surge of love when everything seems right with the world and no evil or sadness can bring you down. it gives me hope in this depressed, misguided, evil world.
