I was not sure if i thought dogs dream, but my dog will start moving her legs, or wagging her tail or even twitching in the middle of the night. Its kind of startling, and the first time i thought she was going to have a seizure, but it never got that twitchy.

What do you think dogs dream about?

Chasing things, playing with their doggy friends, stuff like that....I would imagine. We dream about our lives, and sometimes our fears in the form of nightmares, and I think all animals do the same. After all, we are just over evolved animals ;) My dog used to have puppy nightmares, and good puppy dreams. When he would whimper and whine in his sleep we would wake him up and cuddle him to make him sleep more happily, just like I do with my kids :)

I have always believed that dogs only have happy dreams of the pleasures in their lives which is something we humans have yet to perfect...
