Hey. I'd like to know if there is any reason why I can't use any heat gun as a vaproizer. I've heard a lot about heat guns marketed specifically as vapes, but can't i just use any model? Is there something unique about them that makes them more safe to use for inhaling or is it just being marketed as a vaporizer so they can tack on $50 or $60 bucks to the price? Thanks
as long as it has a temperature setting so you can set it to the correct temp to vaporize the weed and not burn it, it should work.
yea, the one I have has a digital display and can be controlled from 140 F to 1,100 F. My question was about whether or not it would be safe if it wasn't one of the guns advertised as a vaporizer?
Also make sure the heat gun doesn't have too large of a circumference or you might end up heating up a little bit more than just your green
thanks for the tips. my main question about the safety has to do with whether or not the actual mechanism vaporizes any kind of matter that might blow in with the smoke. The same idea is that a soldering iron (even a brand new one) vaporizes leftover material from the manufacturing process even when it isn't touching anything, this is what made me decide not to try this as the heat source in the bong.
