hey i'm wondering what you guys think about using hot water versus using cold water when making PPT. the vast majority of people seem to use hot water, but i've heard only good things about using cold water, and i remember reading that one hip person preffered it to hot water because it made the taste much less intolerable (something about it being less oily if i recall correctly, yeck). what are your thoughts on the subject? thanks
Theres no oil. I used boiling water and just poured it over the pods, left it for about 20 minutes to soak, and then came back, strained it, added sugar, and drank it. Tastes EXACTLY like Earl Grey tea. I used like 4 tablespoons of sugar though because I have a sweettooth. I didn't use milk because I haven't seen it in any other recipe so I didn't want to ruin my only batch so I didn't add any.
thanks for the reply twizz. the other day i used the powder from 8 golfball-sized pods (to be split up between my associate and myself) by shaking it in very cold water for 30 minutes, adding a little lemon juice (i've heard mixed reviews on this point but what the hell), and adding 5 sweetnlows, heh...that method might sound totally crazy to you, but i was feeling intensely lazy that day and i couldnt bring myself to look up the correct method so i just patched something together from stuff i'd read a few weeks earlier. i'm usually very scientific about these things but i was already in the middle of an indica-induced-couchlock by that time hah. what we got was mild, so i think i'll be more thorough next time and also i think i'll just use hot water even though cold may work, just because hot seems to be more trusted method. anyways i apologize if that post was rambling or pointless but i smoked a few bowls of hippie medicine a few minutes ago and everything seems significant
