I told my mother I would mark as spam if she continued, so she knocked it off. She still send group mails to me and the family but it's not nearly as bad as all the stuff she used to send.

 

My mother passed away in November of 2000, so no.

Well then, she probably doesn't get any stupid mass emails, so who's to say whether she would send them on or not?

My mom doesn't use the computer. However, my friend's mother does and she forwards every little thing to me. It's kind of weird. It's even weirder that she remembered my e-mail address off the top of her head after three years. And my grandma's super bad about forwards, so she writes me at an e-mail address I rarely check. She knows if it's ever important, that's what telephones and snail mail's for.

television is as advanced a tecnology as my mother is willing to deal with. she even says stereo gives her a head ache. so no, she doens't have an e-mail account, or even a computer, or any kind of intrest in either. she IS 89! she does use the junk snail mail to hid the places where the feral cats and skunks have shat on the rug.

yes she's a bit loonie and probable needs keepers, but i have no way of paying for them and anyway, she's happier then she ever could be in one of those places where she wouldn't be able to have her cats and they'd keep her doped up all the time.

i'd rather go out in the woods and die of pneumonia myself then end up in one.

all the junk e-mail i ever get myself, i think its because i visited one partiuclar porn site one time, and ever since about a zillion different idiots, or a couple dozzen using a zillion differnt dns's, keep sending me adds for canadian viagra and what knows what pinus extention therapies.

at lest i'm not flooded with 914 or whatever they used to call them, those damd fishing bank scam things anymore.

so no, there's no connection between MY mother and e-mail anything. believe it or not, some of us on here are actually out of high school and even college.

though i'll grant i'm not always sure exactly why i DO keep comming back here. other then its a place i can run off at the keyboard.
