   Well the type of strain does not really matter, they all have the same requirements (more or less). The size of the lamp depends on your growing area.
   
   HID (MH or HPS)
   150 W - 2'x2'
   250 W - 3'x3'
   400 W - 4'x4'
   
   and so on.......
