WBPN!!!! if you haven't heard them,check them out, they won cosmic break tour after playing only 4 months together, this year they just got signed to play, probly cuz they're awesome but seriously these guys have really tight grooves, every show they play is better then their last
Is anyone else disappointed in 10ks line-up this year? I'm thankful I haven't bought a ticket yet. No UM, no moe., no Bisco.... they barely have enough true headliners. Franti should not be a headliner, though I like him. They had an unbelievable line-up last year, what happened 10K?!?! I think I'm just going to go on tour with UM and STS9 for 4 or 5 shows instead. Outside of the disappointing line-up, a huge plus of 10k is the community and atmosphere that forms there. You're in the woods, lots of lakes, and everyone is great and takes care of each other. It blew me away last year, it was beautiful. (I said this in another post but for a better local MN band Sol Spectre is waaaaay better than WBPN. WBPN are alright but slightly generic. Nothing really new. SS are much better musicians, and they do really interesting things with their music, check out Extra Terrestrial Campfire and Myriad, those are my favorites )

Yea.. thats pretty crazy that DSO is on wednesday and wookie is on Friday.. and on main stage at that... my guess.. Franti will be up there with them since murphy and franti have done a lot together.. God Johnson closing down 10klf.. thats gonna be one amazing show as well
