My Dog :(

I think he's gonna have to get put down. He's old now (12 ) and his back legs are really weak as of yesterday, he couldnt even get up.

So now my parents are taking him to the vet to see whats wrong, hopefully he can get better.

I think I'll have to stop smoking weed for a long time because as soon as I get high I'll think of how I'll never see him again.

This is the wrost day of his and my life

You have my sympathies my man. I had to do that on an Easter morning and I still get sad. Just think of him.

the last dog we had was 15 when he died.. we were the same age and stuff growing up because my parents got him when i was a baby, and got the dog when he was a baby too. we were good friends growing up, and then he got really old and could barely walk due to arthritis, so my dad had to put him down


i hope your family doesn't decide to put him down and he gets better!

 

My sister's been pretty sad lately because our one cat is very old and she acts pretty brittle at times and has a weird growth, but we don't have the money to get her checked out.
Losing animals can be a really hard thing. Sending you some sympathetic and hopeful vibes, good luck with finding acceptance if he does have to be put down, but don't worry about it until you know if he is or not.

 

Okay, he's back now.

He got a whole bunch of needles and stuff. They said the medicine takes 12 hours to kick in (long fuckin time) but the medicine rarely fails.

And I found out he had a fever and thats why he wasn't eating. But we shuold know in the morning if he's going to be alright.

 

Im sorry, that really sucks..

12 is pretty awesome for a dog. 84 in dog years. the last dog we lost went the way of the old indian, wandered away to die without upsetting us. her name was sandy. the dog before that was lady, and we gave her away.
my mom and dad just got a puppy, her name is Nanoo, which is cool because the boy can say it.
i can't seem to find the words that Don Toro uses (in piggly winks) but basically he explains that his father had a dog which died, and it broke his heart, so he refused to let his son (don toro) have a pet, so that he would never know that pain. Don Toro never had the sorrow of losing a pet, but he also never knew the joy a pet could bring.
It will be ok. just be there for your dog.

its shit when pets die. good luck with your dog man my cats 13 to. trust me man toke up and have a good think about it, my Grandma died recently and i felt really tense and deppressed. so i had a good toke thought about thinks sobbed for like 2hours and it all made sense and im still sad as fuck but... well shit happens. thats not to say i dont care about her death its just she wouldnt want me to just get on with life.

 

I am so sorry, I am still not over my cat. And I never will be. I hope and pray he is ok.
