Fact is... NONE of us get to choose what turns us on which, for the most part, is a good thing. Firstly, because we know what we like we don't waste valuable dating-time fawning over that which doesn't appeal to us. Secondly, there's always the potential for further discovery/surprises. E.G. A pretty face and long dark hair will typically have me drooling like a bloodhound BUT if I subsequently discover their owner has a laugh like an injured hyena it'll put a big dent in the impression I got from visuals alone. So, I might go talk to a short-haired blonde instead.... to discover a cute giggle and a rockin' sense of humour. So, while most of us have learned that beauty is only skin deep.. what initially appeals to you will always grab your attention. It's tough to fight your own genetics even though they're flawed.

To answer the OP then....... it's an easy "NO". You can't help fancying somebody. The only "wrong" you could do would be to act upon your feelings..... and that's only because you're in a committed relationship. General rule for those in relationships is (or should be) "Look but don't touch." Single people retain the right to get physical with those who turn them on immediately....... their conquests themselves equally entitled to fight them off if they're too forward.

Pretty much sums up infatuation and/or yearning ("love at first sight") born from genetic disposition rather than aquired and accumulated knowledge. It's also what makes dating and relationships so much fun..... and, sadly for some, utterly disasterous.
