yup it'll be a solid 4 months. but since you're even asking, i'm guessing you haven't done a whole lot of research about growing...in which case it'll be a lot longer than 4 months. growing weed isn't rocket science, but you have to do the research on it. there are a lot of good grow guides online. search google.
Times will vary with each grower and method along with type of strain. If starting from seed and soiless grow: (1.)24-48 hrs germinating seed (2.)plant sprout in soil and grow 4-7 days under 24/24 lighting(continuous lighting).(3.) After true leaves appear you will need to veggitate plants 18hrs of light 6 hours darkness for 4 weeks before sexing, again depending on method of grow for time adjustment. (4.)Ater vegigtate you will need to sex the plants. This is where you turn your lights back to 12/12 (12hours of light and 12hrs. of darkness be sure it is completely dark and never interupted durning dark cycle!!!!if so you will be starting the flowering process over) (5.) It will take around 5-14 days for plants to flower be sure to check on plants daily to remove males they will have balls instead of flowers don't laugh i'm serious although when clumped together they could fool the newbie into thinking they have buds. If not sure, research sexing marijuana plants!. (6.) After your first buds begin to appear you will have apporixmatley 8-12 weeks to harvest. (7.) Drying and Curing can take 7-21 days depending on preference. (8.) Now the most importing thing is rolling a fat doob or filling up that first bong and enjoying your fruits of labor!!
