I really want dreads, but Im afraid that my hair might not be good for them. Here are some questions and such 1.My hairs really oily. I pretty much need to wash it everyday using normal shampoo. Does residue free shampoo contain super duper oil removing powers, or should i do something else? 2.My blanket has all these little fuzz things that transfer to my hair every day. I comb them out, but when there is dreads, there is no combing. Will my hair be a blue fuzzy mess? 3.Every morning or so, I combout 5 or so loose hairs. Will my dread hairs be falling out randomly because of the lack of combing. Thats all I can think of for now, but Ill probably add more later. Thankyou
hello sky demon. get some dr. bronners liquid soap. dilute it. and use that. it's the best stuff ever........... 2. yeah your hair will eat that stuff so either wrap your head up in something or find some new blankets 3. for the first few months of my dreaded journey I lost hella hair, but it's okay, you have tons more. it happens. I wasn't very gentle, though. ROAR doobeedobop shibbiddy doo
tea tree i like best dilute it about 12 parts water 1 part soap u can dilute it a lil less if u want though you should find you can wash less often and have it get less oily between ive actualy been just using the deep cleanse stuff latelky and its wonderful, it woill get rid of all the oiliness as for the blanket yea u will get fuzxz loose hairs will stick in dreasdas so u wont find many lost hairs last note..u said..get dreads dont even thing get.. dreads happen.. u grow dreads u dont get dreads u can influence them to begin but thinkig get is the wrong way to think.. how are you planning on starting youirs
1. I have oily hair and dr. bronners makes it oilier. Try any all-natural shampoo (I like avalon organics) and dilute THAT to the consistency of apple juice. Good news is that when your dreads mature you'll notice that your hair is less oily because the dreads absorb it all. 2. get a new blanket 3. your hair doesn't stop falling out when you have dreads... they just fall into the dread and stay there forever.
Could I wear a hair net or something, or will I need a new blanket? I said get, cause I'm backcombing them. Its not really growing that way. I mean Im gonna keep them and grow them after, but the dreads will come to me. Its not natural.
