Ah! Well i posted a thread called 'ban the bra' a while ago, but i cant find it! It was about how can i not wear a bra, but still cover my nips? because i wouldnt apperiate people gawking at them, but i dont want to get into a discussion about THAT! so anyways...SOme girl metioned wearing bandaids on them, and i did, and it worked pretty good...but they hurt when i take them off and make my boobs kinda red..EW! and i cant wear bandaids forever! I also tried tape, but that hurts too. And some girls metioned camiosoles. So I tried some on with a built in bra..but those are annoying because they squueze my boobs and i dont like that underline thing that 'holds' ur boobs up. I mean i am a 38 D but i dont need any support or anything. I just need something to cover up my ol' nips! So i tried a camiosle WITHOUT a built in bra, but they were too thin and when I put my shirt over it, my nipples still poked out! Maybe I should just get a tight tank top thats THICKER but i dont want anything too thick and hot, that would be bad and uncozy. So what do you girls do? what can i do? ah hurry help, my bras are such a pain! my boobs need to be free Thanks so much!
or you could just deal with it haha not to be rude but you're probably going to have to make some sort of small sacrifice in this situation - either wear something, or just have you nipples slightly visible some of the time. everyone has them though, i wouldn't worry about them showing every once in a while
I remember hearing about something called nippaids, or something like that, while watching this documentary on breasts (sortof a historical perspective on them since the 1920s or so) I'm not sure whether they're around or not, but they were essentially nipple shapes with sticky on the back of them. I don't know if they'd be less painful than regular tape. I think superNova has a point though - no solution will be as effective as a bra. I know it's not grand when people stare at your breasts, but they may still be staring at the movement of a braless breast, even if your nipples don't stand out.
Honestly, I don't see why you're worried about this. People are going to notice that you are not wearing a bra, regardless of whether nipples are showing, especially if you wear a D cup. Whether your nipples are showing or not, people are likely to look (or even stare). Anything that is going to prevent nipples from showing (as far as I know of) is going to involve some discomfort. What is more important to you?
If you go to a Victoria Secret, or any adult clothing store you can find nipple cover things that strippers use. I dated a stripper once, she used them. Make sure you put some sort of buffer between the pad and you nipple though, you really don't want tape on your nipple OUCH, my GF made that mistake. But seriously, you can find them in a lot of places. I think they called them pasties? Ask for pasties any place they sell both platfom high heels AND massage oil, it would help if the also sold lengerie <sp?>. Good luck with the nipple problem. Let me know if this post helped or not.
Hey thanks Empathetic! What the heck is a buffer? yea I know what you mean other posters! I dont REALLY care but my parents do and its quite embarassing for my mom and especaily my dad to see my nipples poking out of my shirt! But still...good point all. And yea, people will stare anyways, so whats the point huh?
I just go braless all the time without worrying about my nipples, which I know sometimes can be seen, but I realize there's nothing wrong with it, even if people stare, so I just don't worry.
I have the same issue! especially since my baby nurses so my nipples naturally have this "here they are!" quality, so I have a bunch of jogging tops I wear under the thinner shirts so it evens things out. Workout tops, can get em at any cheapo store, and get em a size too big if you don't want them too tight.
http://www.mom4life.com/LilyPadzDescription.htm I actually would NOT recommend these "Lily Pads" for Nursing Mothers (Although that is what they are made for) as they can cause infections and plugged ducts, but for a non nursing womyn, who wants a little cover for her nipples, these might work. They are self adhesive and reusable. Personally, I just go Born Free. I figure anyone I run into who hasn't seen a nipple popping under a shirt should by now LOL! You can google the work "Lily Pads" and "Breast" to get more sites and other prices.
I have a customer who is a stripper. In the state of VA, they can't show nipple, so she buys Dr Schol's NON-MEDICATED corn pads, a case at a time. If you try them, make sure the label says NON-MEDICATED. The medicated pads contain salicyclic acid, which would be VERY irritating to your nipple.
Oh ewww corn pads? haha. well thats nice, but I wouldn't want to KEEP buying them, you know? but all these other posts conviced me - who cares about nipples! hehe. I guess I just need to buy more thicker shirts...because mostly all the shirts I have are SO thin you can see my nipple and tottaly my boobs. And I agree with Tamee...yes they are my nipples, good point! P.S Tamee did you really draw that picture in your sig? If so..thats so cooL! sooo cosmic! hehe. I usually draw random stuff like that too...but not as good as urs! good job!
