Up to this point I have only used a torch lighter on a waterfall bong to smoke salvia (very useful for cooling smoke). I have been using a few pinches of "15x purple sticky salvia" with level 2-3 effects. This seems relatively weak compared to the many reports i've read, and I would consider my several experiences with salvia much weaker than mushrooms. Anyways, I ordered salvia from 2 different sources online for variety, but I was wondering if the waterfall bong may have any affect on my experiences. Does the active ingredient become inactive when cooled? While no smoke is lost, there is about 15 seconds between burning the salvia and me actually inhaling. Any thoughts?
I think it is better not to use water bong for salvia. As you only need a tiny amount there is hardly any smoke and it isnt too harsh anyways, so best stick with a regular pipe i reckons. Salvatorin A is the main active ingredient and needs to be very hot to be active, hence why you need a flame on the stuff for whole burun/inhale for maximum effects, i think a regular lighter is fine.
I think that smoking it with a waterfall bong and a torch lighter would be the best way to smoke it...
The weird thing is that I've smoked 25x out of a waterfalls set and for some reason it didn't really work. Maybe I touched the Salvia and it lost potency?
