question?

okay, so i was pretty desperate the other night, my dealer was out and i really wanted to get a little high. haha. so i scraped the resin off my pipe, and it was kind of gooey and like molasses. i put it into a parachute (lung) and smoked it that way, but when it burnt it just kind of melted, and still produced alot of smoke. uhm, my question was. is this really unhealthy?

 

It's probably better for you than smoking bud. I don't guess it really matters though.....would you refrain from smoking resin if you found out it wasn't good for you? I know I wouldn't. Resin is a savior, when there is no weed to be smoked.

When the resin is nice and gooey like that, I like to spread it on a joint and let it dry, and then smoke it. When I don't have a joint, then I spread the resin on a cigarette.

Yes thats perfectly normal, whenever I clean out any of my bowlpieced I always smoke the res.

I'm not just gonna let it go to waste, it's like throwing a spliff away. It might taste bad and make you hack up a lung but it sure gets you stoned as hell.

 

It's only condensed smoke, which surely can't be much worse for you than regular smoke!

 

yeah, i do the same. can't see it being any worse than smoking actual weed. i do that too sometimes.
OR, when i'm smoking joints at home, i try to stop early and leave a phat roach. i put all the roaches in a container and try to forget about them, so when i'm dry, i just reach in my bowl and fish out a nice roach. i find i get REALLY baked off roaches cause of all the resin on them. or just like you said, i scrape my bowl clean.

for this reason i never clean my bowls(unless they are so clogged that i cant even smoke out of it) for this very reason, you never know whats gonna happen and youll be happy you got it. its better to smoke resin than to spend your days sober and wishing you had weed

Exactly, I mean hell just putting smoke in your lungs isn't really all too good. Resin gets you high, so if you are looking to get high, but don't have weed, then smoke resin

 

i am broke as of right now because i lost my bank card and can't go to the bank until tomorrow.

you can't categorize everyone's smoking habits out of desperation, it COULD be a monetary issue. it's not like we're going out and selling our bodies for weed. and honestly, a little bit of res goes a long way.

and about smoking roaches, it's just the last bit of your joint. i'm sure you try to smoke as much as possible from your joint, which leaves a tiny roach. so really you are smoking res too. what i'm talking about is, leaving a GOOD amount, and saving it for later. is saving a sign of addiction and lack of self control? hmm...
anyway try it sometime, and you'd be surprised. depending on how/if you filter your joint, just leave a good sized amount, and out it. later on, when you want to smoke again, just light'er up.
of course this is all just IMHO.

It's not gross...it's weed. it has the same shit as fluffy weed it just looks/tastes different but I mean it has the same effect and comes from the same thing so I really don't see how it's "gross".

Well i guess the people that go to the club down the road from me are wastful also, cause they dispose of Blunt roaches in the parking lot... If I was as desperate as some of you Id find something better to occupy my time with.

If you enjoy throwing harmful particles into your lungs, along with high levels of heat just to get a nasty tasting high. Hell you may as well smoke banana peels.

Theres a big difference in smoking roaches and smoking rez. one is still mostly vegitative matter. and the other is a waste product full of tars and carcinogens..
If you dont take care of your lungs then you wouldnt be smoking much of anything in the future...
