alone has its own problems but with some1 your not all that confy with (yea i know ya saif bf but seeems ya wouldnr be as confy as u should be round him)

i wouldn't do it alone your first time. just do it with your boyfriend, it will bring you closer together.

 

the tripping mind needs other tripping minds to relaste to or it can be consimed within itself

Tell him to lighten up. I tripped alone my first time and was perfectly fine. Other people weirded me out on acid.

If he seriously doesn't want you doing it alone for your safety, just tell him that you'll do it in a room and he can sit downstairs or something.

 

if you can't get the acid any other way, then eagle's suggestion of leaving it open ended so you can wander away and be alone would be good, if your bf would even go along with it while tripping; that's your call to decide. You did say he was the type who would do it just to get fucked up and would make flaccid attempts at squandering the lsd energy, maybe leaving him alone would be bad for him. But it is possible to open yourself up to the light even with distracting people around.

I guess you could just pretend to drop it, and save it for yourself for later, but that's not exactly enhancing your r'ship

DOn't let anyone tell you that tripping alone is a bad idea. it's a bad idea for some, I'm sure, but if you're confident with it it'd be fine. I've always enjoyed being alone in any context, and tripping alone for me is great. If a person is typically dependent on other people, it might be less than ideal to trip alone. It's hard to pin down governing principles for all with this topic, it's best to follow your gut.

 

Why wouldnt you want to trip out?

my first time was alone. It was a blast cause there was no one to keep me down. Just me and my acid blasted mind walking/jogging down my neighborhood streets in my boxers at 1:30 AM. In case you haven't realized you have bad judgement when your by yourself

 

what the hell? sounds like your judgement was bad enough on its own before tripping. you're supposed to take care of setting beforehand so you don't wander the streets in your boxers and arouse interest. I think your trip had more to it than the fact that you were alone.

 

i took 4 my first time, my head was too scrambled. Besides, it was a full moon, I had to go outside. It also just so happened to be very nice outisde, temperature wise

idk, both ways has advantages...if u want the experience ur sayin, i guess i would try for being alone, or if its possible what eagle said

 

the best way in my opinion is to have a sitter, as long as they're tripping just as much as you, that way you have someone else who can communicate through speech fragments.

 

spiritual trips can be interesting but in all honesty the last few times I did it I was far more interested by the aspect of I guess you could say, roving spirituality, using magick on the fly. Basically walking around the city or wherever, or just hanging out with people and like I can just pull all the sacred geometries and energy structure into forms around me or project things out. And I would say, seemingly control the vibe of the whole situation. Or not so much control but I guess... seemingly calm the psychic waters so that a more calm collective flow can come... of course though that relationship is probably completely associative among other people. But I just find it fascinating the role the geometric formations and structures you see from, in and around people and how it relates to what there feeling and whats going on. Then the wil to change the structure and the outcome, the relationship is extremely pecuilar.

many times my trip was pulled in a way i was not comfortable with because of someone elses drama. sometimes it is better to do it alone. but i also know of people who could not handle tripping alone, some people are not good alone. i have had wonderful trips alone and with friends. you have to try both. what happens on a solo trip can not happen on a group trip. a solo trip for spiritual reasons sounds like a great idea. on your first trip - brave!

yeah. i dont think tripping alone is a bad thing, but for your first time...ehhh sketchy could go both ways. when you trip alone you absolutely lose touch with everything you know. it can get pretty crazy. maybe a little too much for a first timer. i say drop it with him. if you both have a good time youll be even closer because of it. if not, youll know that maybe you guys wont work out. it could be a real turning point in your relationship.
