I just discovered Your great site yesterday, and I was really fascinated by the high level of Your discussions about a large variety of themes. my English isn´t that famous, but I liked your language allways very much, and hip forum surely is a good place, where to improve my knowledge a bit, all the more most politicforums don´t have a high standard. I am some kinda of a cynical romantic, meanwhile 40 years of age and single. My great passions are history and literature, and my nick means "the naive one". I have chosen it, because I am highly fascinated by the protagonist of a famous German novel. "Der abenteuerliche Simplicius Simplicissimus" of Grimmelshausen. This anti- heroe reports about his adventures in the madness of the Thirty Years War.
My spoken English is more influenced by American, than British English, but at most schools and colleges the orthography of British English is more familiar. So I still write colour, flavour etc, instead of color, flavor and rather use an elevator, than a lift or take care of my luggage instead my baggage.
